Holistic Balance Across Life Domains
God is not a religion, and the Bible is not a religious book; rather, it is a guide to finding the solution to whatever you are searching for in your life on Earth.
What am I talking about, in essence, here? If you become too fanatic about religion, it does not mean you are organically balanced. And if you become obsessed with materialism, you are already off-balance.
So stability flourishes when body, mind, spirit, and relationships are all nurtured. This means that true organic stability encompasses multiple aspects of life, including physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual. And God had already emphasised it in his prayers when he prayed as follows:
“Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.” — 3 John 1:2
This particular verse suggests that true stability encompasses the whole person, both physically and spiritually.
To introduce organic stability and achieve holistic balance across various life domains, consider the following practical activities to incorporate into your life.
a) Prioritise well-being in all these areas, such as physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual.
b) Avoid compartmentalising (making problems complex); instead, address root causes.
c) Foster nourishing relationships and communities.
And here is why these simple practices matter: Stability is more sustainable when it’s comprehensive, as it prevents imbalance from destabilising one domain and eventually cascading into others.
